I want to be authentic in my music, and through that I hope to become more and more authentic in my every day life. Authenticity makes for many, many great friendships. It is out of authenticity that life altering conversations are born. The reason this is true is because we all seem to live our lives wearing masks. For the most part, we like our comfort zone. We don’t like when people know what we are really feeling/thinking. The majority of us just simply don’t like being vulnerable. I want to challenge myself in this area. I want to tell the story of my life not when I am 80 years old on a rocking chair, but as life happens. One of my current goals is to start writing and recording music with different kinds of people. Everyone has some sort of creativity running their veins, and I want to tap into that the best that I possibly can.
